a little about me

when i’m not documenting families like yours, I’m soaking up time with my own, with a camera in one hand and a coffee (or cabernet) in the other. I’m a mama to a little girl and currently expecting our rainbow baby late this summer, part-time social worker, photographer, full-time mother, sister, daughter, wife, and friend. Most days, you’ll find me in a big sweater, surrounded by toddler toys, and the kind of beautiful chaos that comes with motherhood. When my “mom” hat is off for the day, I’m crocheting half-finished blankets, rewatching Gilmore Girls like it’s a seasonal ritual, ignoring laundry for days, and dreaming up my next big idea that I may or may not finish. I live for soft (late) mornings, family dinners, and adventures with my daughter. I’m deeply rooted in the things that matter: love, connection, and creating a space where people feel safe to be themselves.

when did photography come into the picture?

I didn't always have a camera in my hand, I actually come from a background in mental health with a master’s in social work, mainly helping kids and teens build healthy, safe relationships. The empathy and compassion developed throughout this career enhance my ability to build rapport, understand emotional cues, communicate, ensure inclusivity, and capture authentic moments. This journey has really shaped the way I approach photography. I make it a priority to create a relaxed and safe space where everyone can just be themselves.

Everyone has their own unique story—families come in all shapes and sizes, and everyone's journey is their own. I want each person to feel confident in front of my lens, embracing every part of who they are. My goal is to offer a personalized experience that respects and celebrates all families, backgrounds, cultures, and identities.
