a season of waiting, of wondering, of growing something sacred. these months are filled with quiet strength and loud love. an unfolding story written in soft kicks and tender touches. maternity sessions celebrate this transformation, freezing the beauty of becoming before your world shifts forever.

Birth

one moment, the creation of a mother.

in one breath, everything changes. birth is raw, real, and impossibly powerful, a story told in strength, surrender, and the first cry of someone brand new. these sessions honor not just the arrival of a baby, but the birth of you—your courage, your love, your beginning.

still wrapped in the haze of birth, your baby stretches, yawns, and meets the world. fresh48 sessions capture the tiny details and real emotion of your first day together, the wrinkled toes, the sleepy smiles, the way you look at each other like nothing else exists. these are the in-between moments that vanish too quickly, preserved just as they were.

Motherhood

the heart of it all.

the snuggles before bedtime, the way they cling to your leg, the quiet glances only a mother knows how to give—these are the days that shape you both. motherhood sessions are about presence over perfection, the way your love shows up in the everyday. gentle, honest, and completely full of heart.

Milestones

the gummy grin, the wobbly first steps, the way they light up when they see you—these are the fleeting moments that feel big. milestone sessions capture the magic of your little one becoming who they are, one blink at a time. sweet, simple, and full of personality.

Families

the chaos, the cuddles, the loud love that fills your days, this is your forever. family sessions are about holding onto the connection that carries you through every season. no stiff poses or forced smiles—just real moments, the way your little one reaches for your hand or belly-laughs in the grass. messy, magical, and uniquely yours.

FAQ

  • Always! I know how excited you are to see your images - and I want to get them to you ASAP. You’ll get a sneak peek within forty-eight hours. 

  • Seasonal minis are mainly offered through Megan Curren Photography where I shoot as Megan's associate photographer!

  • I take a mixture of both (but mostly unposed organic images as you see through my site)! I love encapsulating candid moments between the classic portraits. I encourage you to laugh hard, be affectionate, and exaggerate your happy moments even if it feels silly - don't hold back, your energy can be contagious and result in everyone else laughing too.

  • My go-to recommendation is to stick with neutral tones and ensure your family’s outfits flow together rather than match exactly. Think layers, textures, and movement, while limiting bold patterns. If you’d like an opinion, feel free to send me pictures in the weeks leading up to your session, I’m happy to help! Choosing the right outfits is so important—this is something I can’t change with editing, and it’s one of the first things that will stand out when you look at your images.

  • In case the weather doesn't look good for our session, I'll let you know as soon as possible. We'll do our best to find the next earliest date that works for both of us. A slightly cloudy sky can be perfect for lighting, so only heavy rain during the session or extreme heat/cold will pause our plans. Otherwise, we're happy to stay outside.

  • Each package includes a set number of digital images, with the option to upgrade. For full details on what’s included in each package, visit the Investment page.

  • Life is unpredictable. If you or your kiddo falls ill, or if an urgent matter arises, please inform me as soon as possible. We will do our best to reschedule to the next mutually convenient date. Keep in mind that the booking retainer is non-refundable but transferable if a session needs to be rescheduled. If you are cancelling your session all together, there is an additional cancellation fee.

  • i edit anything that doesn't seem typical to you, unwanted stray hairs, minor blemishes,  bumps, bruises, boo boos, band aids. anything else is part of who you are, and i would never want to change that!
